Once we receive the item/s we will email you to confirm and issue a refund for the item/s We aim to ensure that all items sold are in good working order and have been checked to highest standards, we recognise that there are times that items can arrive damaged or may be defective. In these instances please get in touch with us sales@alfastop.co.uk and we can look to send a replacement, refund and to also make arrangements for the collection of the defective or damaged item. If the item/s arrive and appear to be damaged in transit we would ask that the customer take photos of the damaged packaging and send this to us. We will arrange for replacement items to be sent to you and arrange for the damaged items to be collect via our courier services. There are times when a customer will request a used part this will show on the invoice as used part and sold via OAP, (old alfa Parts) where a used part is available it will be checked, a clear description will be provided to the customer with regards to condition and also pictures of the item can also be sent to the customer and any measurements. TERMS OF BUSINESS Alfastop is a e-commerce business which is based in the UK, we sell both in and outside the UK, we trade in GBP. Alfastop source parts that are manufactured in the UK, Europe and USA. Our own range of parts are made in the UK by small independent businesses and craftsmen, this is something we feel very passionate about. Alfastop not only sells classic Alfa Romeo car parts but also has an extensive knowledge and experience of restoring, rebuilding and maintaining these cars. Customers place an order with Alfastop using the website however, this can also be done, via email, phone or WhatsApp. Customers need to ensure that they use the correct product code where possible as this will enable orders to be processed quickly. If the customer is unsure of the product code Alfastop will contact the customer to establish the correct part, this could include sending pictures. Upon receiving the order A lfastop will acknowledge receipt of the items either via email, phone or WhatsApp (dependent on how the customer placed the request) any items that are not in stock the customer will be informed or if an alternative options is available instead the customer will be informed. If we need to we will confirm addresses for the purpose of invoicing and delivery, customers need to be clear when changing delivery addresses. Once items are ready Alfastop will email the customer with the invoice including shipping costs and also include information with regards payment. Payments are usually made via a “Pay by Link” from World Pay, these are sent to customers via email from Portello parts world pay account. Order Requests - How To Request A Quote Browse the online product catalogue by car model and series or using the search function to find a product. When you find the product you are insterested in, add it to your Order Request Cart. When you have finished adding products to your Cart, use the check out function to send us your Order Request. No payment is taken at this stage. We receive your Order Request and then source the right shipping, at the best price, for your products and destination and then send you a quote that contains details of how to accept the quote and pay for your goods & shipping. AlfaStop aims to respond to your enquiry within 24 hours. We cannot offer online ordering due to the complexity of obtaining the best shipping quote for you. All we ask is you let us know you are planning to call in so we can be around for you. What times is AlfaStop open? The office/ HQ is open from 0900-1700hrs, admin hours are typically10:00-14:45 and 1600-1800. Monday - Thursday (Friday admin closes at 14.45) (GMT). However this is only for guidance you may find we do respond to things at weekends and in the evening and will accommodate the differing time zones etc. How does the PayBy link work? The PayBy link from World Pay is the same process you use when checking out of an online platform the only difference is it is sent to you via email. You follow the instructions on the link. The link will include the invoice number and the total amount payable (including delivery costs). You may be asked to follow some security steps via your bank before the payment is cleared or whilst completing the payment, this is standard and something between you and your banking provider. "Quantity Per Car" gives you an indication of how many of the item are required per car, & how many should be bought if all items are to be replaced. Thus: (1) indicates that one of this item is required per car (2) indicates that two of this item is required per car (16) indicates that sixteen of this item is required per car. Note that: The quantity refers to the application under the specific listing, so, for example, if (4) is shown as the number of brake drum retaining screws on the front brakes listing, more may be required for the rear brakes - which will be shown under the rear brake listing. This is then either actually rebuilt & returned to the customer, or is exchanged for another unit which has already been rebuilt. Can you send windscreens internationally? We are happy to ship glass screens. These will be sent in purpose built wooden heat treated crates, we are happy to ship internationally but the glass does have to go in the purpose built creates and where we can will try to obtain the best shipping rate we can. If you are in the UK we are happy to ship, typically this will go with DHL or you are welcome to collect.

SHIPPING We are able to ship across the world, we use Fed Ex, DHL and Royal mail. Packaging will vary to suit the items where possible Alfastop will try to reuse and recycle packaging to prevent waste. We do try to keep sizes down and ensure that items are packed well to prevent damage in transit. Shipment of fuel tanks outside the UK, all tanks going outside the UK are all new and fuel free, we do not offer international shipping on used fuel tanks. These tanks are shipped in heat treated timber in accordance with customs and import rules of USA and Canada. We will also work with our couriers to ensure best price on these and in many cases will obtain a spot rate purchase. We do not recommend that fuel tanks going overseas are shipped in card packaging, if a customer is insistent on this method Alfastop will accept no liability for the damage or loss of the fuel tank. UK customers can either opt to collect your fuel tank, we are based in Redcastle Classics Caerphilly CF83 3HU or we will ship these to you typically with DHL. We offer card or crate options to suit customers needs. Shipment of Glass - We are happy to ship glass screens. If you are in the UK we are happy to ship, typically this will go with DHL or you are welcome to collect. Your order will be shipped once payment has cleared (typically this is the same day or a day after depending on payment method) orders being shipped via DHL or FedEx will arrive approx.2-4 days for USA, Europe, the rest of the world may take up to 4 days approx if priority or express services are used. International post 6-10 business days. UK orders will be shipped once payment is received via DHL domestic typically 24hrs or royal mail (dependent on the postage service) Shipping costs are added to the invoice and once items are dispatched via our courier services or tracked Royal mail postage the customer should have an email with a tracking number and link from the courier. In the event that items either do not arrive or are damaged please get in touch, if you are able to send pictures of any damage that would be very helpful in escalating a claim.
