The master cylinder is hardly in an ideal position right next to the exhaust down-pipes or manifold, even if a heat shield is fitted.Installed inside the car between the pedal box mounting flange & the bulkhead (firewall), this precision made 6mm thick aluminium spacer moves the pedal box just that little bit further away from the exhaust pipes. A heat shield can still be fitted, although the front mounting holes of the heat shield will need to be elongated. Developed and tested on the AlfaStop Giulietta Sprint V, made in Wales exclusively for AlfaStop.
 
A set of 6x hex headed Stainless Steel (INOX) bolts and wavy washers is included.Now modified to suit both early and late type pedal boxes. See also the seal 1BRM127 which can be place either side of the spacer plate instead of a mastic type sealer.
