A modern equivalent of original Veglia unit which is a tried & tested alternative, even the low level light works. Inherently more reliable than the traditional wound coil & wiper type unit as was originally fitted. Suitable for all models and sizes of the original & AlfaStop fuel tanks. The fuel float rod will need some slight bending to replicate the shape of the original. Note that this is supplied with the mounting gasket. Having supplied many, many, of these senders over the years, a customer has reported that he had tested his recently supplied sender with a multimeter before installation and it was not registering throughout the swing of the arm. A replacement was promptly sent, which was reported as functioning as expected. On testing the returned unit on a test rig by an experienced engineer supplier to AlfaStop, it was found to function perfectly. So as a result of this report, EVERY sender is now electrically tested before bring received here for stock. In common with many other suppliers of electrical autoparts, AlfaStop will no longer accept returns of fuel senders which are suspected as being faulty for an immediate automatic replacement.
