The fuel sender unit itself is not supplied with the tank and is available to purchase separately, as are the mounting straps & felts, breather pipe & hoses, filler hose & caps, & outlet banjo bolt. This tank & all components are E10 compliant & is suitable for E10 (bio-ethanol) fuels. AlfaStop has a policy of supplying all rubber type fuel parts in materials suitable for E10 (bio-ethanol) fuels whenever possible.

- Aluminium fuel tank (56 litres) - Developed from AlfaStop's successful stainless steel fuel tanks, these tanks are handmade by a craftsman in England exclusively for AlfaStop. Being a faithful copy of the original, they are indistinguishable from the original. All internal baffles, swirl pots, filters etc as the originals and tanks are individually pressure tested to 0.35 bar (approx. 5 psi). Drain plugs are as the original, cast in gun metal, and have a gasket which withstands leaded, lead-free & methanol based fuels. The original electrical fuel gauge sender units can be fitted to these tanks. Tanks can either be left unpainted, or treated with an etch primer suitable for aluminium and painted. Capacity is nominal as per the original Alfa Romeo specification.
