There are 2 designs of aluminium front brake shoes fitted to the Giulietta which can be identified by a number cast into the shoe. The pattern of drilled holes is different on each type of shoe. Your old set of brake shoes is required to be returned to AlfaStop in advance in exchange for the set of re-lined shoes, at your cost. Relined brake shoes sets are occasionally available from stock for advance exchange.
If you are unsure what shoes you have please email a photo of these and the shoe number to sales@alfastop.co.uk and we should be able to help.
THIS SERVICE IS NOT AVAILABLE TO CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE OF THE U. K. DUE TO U. K. & E. U. CUSTOMS REGULATIONS.

Exchange Front Brake Shoes, Original Ferodo Mz41 Woven Asbestos-Free
- Relining of Customer's Brake Shoes in Ferodo MZ41 -I believe that FERODO MZ41 was the finest lining material for classic Alfa Romeos. It was specified by Alfa Romeo for original fitment to all production models from the 1900 Berlina of 1950 through the Giulietta, 2000, 2600, to the first Giulia 105 series TI models which were fitted with triple shoe front brakes. The lining sets contain pre-drilled linings & rivets to be fitted by customer. We do offer a relining service of Customer's own brake shoes for customer within the UK. Please contact us to enquire about this option. NOTE: Care should be taken not to breathe in asbestos dust. Brake dust should be treated with a proprietary brake cleaner fluid and should not be removed by brush or compressed air. * Most Giulietta Normale type cars have front brake shoes identified by 1365.53.043. * Giulietta Veloce type front brake shoes are identified by 1365.53.026. Caution! Brake shoes relined with a bonded on moulded (non woven) linings are not suitable for vehicles under 2 tons and where there is no servo fitted. This will result in very poor unsafe braking performance.
