For calipers with an internal port connecting the two caliper halves. Includes high temperature resistant piston seals. The pistons are chromed Steel, these may be Girling or top quality alternatives, according to availability. Chromed Steel pistons are becoming difficult to obtain as a result of the closure of many chrome platers. Stainless Steel (INOX) pistons are now offered as an alternative and are usually available from stock.
This set contains all parts required to overhaul a pair of front brake calipers.
It comprises:
all rubber piston seals & protective dustboots
2x large caliper pistons
4x small caliper pistons
1x tube of rubber brake grease
2x bleed screws
2x bleed screw caps
4x brake pad retainer pins & R-clips
2x caliper mounting bolt locktabs
Note that the internal O-rings which seal the between the caliper halves are NOT included.
