A competition or performance type air filter element manufactured in England exclusively for AlfaStop, also suitable for normal road use. This filter is both less restrictive and more efficient than the period RETEX filters, using modern multi layer foam filter technology. The filter ends are intentionally compressible, providing an effective seal between filter and filter housing. The filter contains a fire retardant layer within the foam which reduces the risk of the filter being set alight by an engine spit back. The recommended service interval is 10,000 miles or 16,000 kms of normal road use, or more frequently if the car is used in dusty conditions. The filter is pre-oiled & is ready for immediate use. In common with the RETEX washable filters used as original equipment, this filter can be cleaned and re-oiled. The widely available Rock Oil Factory Foam Kleen & Rock Oil Factory Foam Oil are suitable for this purpose.
