Giulietta & Giulia 101 series Stainless Steel Fuel Tanks
Many customers recently seem to have had problems with leaking or damaged fuel tanks. The only remedies were to either have it patched or plated, coated with a plastic liner, or to look for another original tank in better condition than theirs.
AlfaStop can offer you a permanent solution with a replica of the original tank made in 304 grade stainless steel.
Handmade by a craftsman in England exclusively for AlfaStop, these tanks have all internal baffles, swirl pots, filters etc as the originals and are individually pressure tested to 0.35 bar (approx. 5 psi). Drain plugs are as the original, cast in gun metal, and have a Nitrile gasket which withstands leaded, lead-free & methanol based fuels. AlfaStop tanks can be readily identified by an ID plate on the front, stating test pressure & duration.
The original electrical fuel gauge sender units can be fitted to these tanks.
Tanks can either be left unpainted, or treated with an etch primer suitable for stainless steel and painted.
