How to request a Quotation

Browse the online product catalogue by car model and series by following the links at the bottom of the page, clicking on a model and series link on our home page or using our detailed search function to find a product.

From the listed products, click the 'more info' link for more information or select the 'Easy Quote' () checkbox to add the item to your quotation list. You can add a maximum of 10 products to your quotation list.

You can view your list at any time. Once you have finished browsing, click the checkout option on the quotation list and fill out the brief form to submit your list for quotation.

AlfaStop aims to respond to your enquiry within 2-3 working days.

We accept the following methods of payments should you choose to accept our quote and we are happy to ship your products worldwide.

Methods of Payment

We accept the following methods of payments (listed in order of speed). To place your order, you can telephone, fax or e-mail, remembering to quote your name and full address for delivery OR quotation number.

Credit Card
Payment can be made by most credit cards (but not by Diners or American Express) subject to the transaction being approved by the Credit Card Company. For security reasons, delivery must usually be made to the address to which your Credit Card Company sends the monthly statement. To use this service, we require the following information:

  • Credit Card Number
  • Cardholder's Name AS SHOWN ON THE CARD
  • Card Expiry Date
  • Address to which monthly statement is sent by the Credit Card Company
  • The name of the bank which issued the card
  • You may prefer to fax these details to our credit card order line on +44 (0)177 382 1750.

EurocardMastercardVisa

Note: Most credit card transactions are approved immediately or within several hours, any delays are usually caused by cardholders who have: moved and not told the Credit Card Company; exceeded their credit limit; or given a business address as the delivery address. Please do check that all the information is correct, it is embarrassing for us to have to tell you that the transaction has been declined.

"Swift" International Bank Transfer
Your bank can transfer Pounds sterling from your account to the AlfaStop account at NatWest Bank. This is normally quick, simple and inexpensive.

To use this service, instruct your bank to use SWIFT to transfer the total invoice value in Pounds Sterling to AlfaStop plus an additional GBP6.00 to cover our bank charges. We must ask that you pay all local and UK bank charges, so please instruct your bank to quote "REMITTER" or "OUR" in box 71A of the SWIFT form, giving details of AlfaStop's NatWest Bank account (which we will supply on request).

EuroGiro
This is available through the Girobank or Post Offices in most European countries, and is usually free or very inexpensive to use.

To pay by this service, transfer the total invoice value in Pounds Sterling PLUS an additional GBP2.50 to cover our Girobank charges, giving details of the AlfaStop GIROBANK UK account (which we will supply on request).

Bank Draft
Please ask your local bank to issue a Bank Draft to you, in Pounds Sterling, to the full invoice value, payable at London to AlfaStop. You then post the Bank Draft to: AlfaStop PO Box 50, Belper, Derbyshire DE56 1AS UK.

UK Bank Cheques
We can accept cheques in Pounds Sterling drawn on UK banks and payable to AlfaStop. The cheques must have a six-figure sort code number in the top right corner, and the bank address shown on the cheque must be in the UK.

Mandat Postal
French customers can arrange payment by a Mandat Postal via their local Post Office. There is usually a delay of about 7 to 10 days before payment is received at AlfaStop when using this method.

Whilst AlfaStop has been carefully designed to be fully operational on all major internet browser software products, we do not recommend using Netscape version 4.x to view this site. Due to the age of these browsers, Internet Explorer 4.x is also not recommended.

If you prefer to use Netscape Navigator to browse the internet, we strongly recommend upgrading to Netscape 6 or 7 - both of which are FREE to download and are fully compatible.

Opera software
Users of Opera's browser will be pleased to hear that this web site is fully operational on Opera, with particularly impressive performance if you ensure that you are using the latest version of the browser.

Printing Problems

This web site has been carefully designed to be printer friendly. You can print out any page on this website by using one of these three methods:

  • Click on the Print button at the top of the page
  • Click on the Print option in the 'File' menu at the top of the page, then click print button in the dialog box
  • Press CTRL+P, then click ok button in the dialog box.

For the best quality print out AlfaStop suggests that you use Internet Explorer 5.x or higher and set the print settings to 'print background colours and images'.

You set this by selecting the 'Tools' menu at the top of the page and clicking on 'Internet Options'. Click on the 'Advanced' tab in the dialog box and scroll down to printing options, then select the tick box to 'print background colors and images' and the click 'save' button.
